Association has hosted many Dance Festivals including Nritya Karnataka focusing on Mysore School of Dancing. Many dancing star has participated in these Festivals. The contributions of Gurus Mahalingam Pillai, Kalyanan Sundaram and Rajee Narayan are grateful remembered. The Association itself has produced a number of Ballets under the tutelage of Smt. Gita Vishwanath whose talent is unbounded. Notables among them are Bhaja Govindam Shyamala Dandakam Krishna Karnamrita Kolooru Kodagoosu Antahpura Gitegalu Smt. Seethamma Rao’s Sri Purandara Dasa made a lasting impression. A 4 day Karnataka Maharashtra Dance Festival in 1986 saw a blend of Kannada – Marathi Folk Nrityas to further the bonds between the two languages.
